Develop a Sustainable Communities Handbook and model ordinances to encourage sustainable design practices, such as maximizing energy efficiency; utilizing green energy; preventing habitat fragmentation; retaining / redeveloping the tree canopy; promoting stormwater retention, water conservation and building reuse; as well as maximizing inter-connectivity and utilizing public transit.
