Community Outreach Events and Survey Summary

In addition to the County-wide mailed survey in February, the team has collected feedback from residents and visitors throughout outreach events all of Summer 2024, including a shorter community survey that allowed participants to rank the County's top strengths and weaknesses from a standardized list. We have received over 500 responses to this community survey!

Another feedback collection mechanism that the team offered at these events was a "Draw your favorite place" activity. This was more popular amongst kids and young adults, and provides a very helpful glimpse into the activities and land uses that the younger population, who are often underrepresented in surveying and other methods of getting feedback from residents.
